In combination with the automated elements of the tool, users can run reports manually to generate cohorts of patients that require medicines monitoring. Reports can be run per drug or holistically.

The user opens the patient record of a patient who has unmonitored medication or whose medication monitoring is out of date.
The user is presented with either a pop-up or a passive alert.
By reviewing the pop-up or alert the user will be notified which complex medication the patient has been prescribed.
The pop-up or alert will inform the user of the monitoring requirements for the specific medication prescribed, as well as any previous investigations and/or recording.
The user can then navigate to a customised template, bespoke to the patient's prescribed medication, to perform a full medication review, if required.
