Powerful features

Local clinical system

  • All the clinical data entry, workflow and reporting elements are built into your local SystmOne and EMIS systems.
  • All coding and investigations are harmonised across both systems, so areas with a mixed economy of systems will still have standardisation in both patient care and reporting
  • By containing all of the reporting and clinical elements within the patient record, the tool is very responsive and protected by all local security and information governance.
  • DXS Point-of-Care (PoC) users will be able to launch all their local PoC content directly from within the tool, including referral forms, pathways, medication specific guidance and patient leaflets.
Powerful features

Bespoke to local needs

  • Our Medicines Monitoring Toolkit contains a vast library of supported medication that can be reduced and tailored to support every practices’ needs. Any medicines not selected can always be added at a later date, or even through a staggered deployment process.
  • The appearance of the tool can also be tailored to each practice, whether users want an active pop-up once they enter a record, or whether they rather want a passive alert. This can all be localised per practice if required.
  • Local formularies can also be embedded into the tool, which allows for more effective monitoring at practice, PCN, CCG or federation level.

How it works
clinical pathway

The user opens the patient record of a patient who has unmonitored medication or whose medication monitoring is out of date.

clinical pathway

The user is presented with either a pop-up or a passive alert.

clinical pathway

By reviewing the pop-up or alert the user will be notified which complex medication the patient has been prescribed.

clinical pathway

The pop-up or alert will inform the user of the monitoring requirements for the specific medication prescribed, as well as any previous investigations and/or recording.

clinical pathway

The user can then navigate to a customised template, bespoke to the patient's prescribed medication, to perform a full medication review, if required.
