This quarter saw the successful completion of our first independent Data Protection Audit for the NHS Data Protection Toolkit. While previous years relied on self-certification, engaging an external auditor provided an added layer of assurance – giving both you and us greater confidence in the strength of our security practices.
As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening technical security, we introduced a new containerised firewall solution into our infrastructure. This enhancement streamlined system performance, increased resilience, and enabled us to identify and proactively resolve inefficiencies along the way.
Behind the scenes, we continuously explore new technologies to keep your data secure. One of our latest advancements is the introduction of container technology to our infrastructure, which improves system reliability and recovery in the unlikely event of a disruption.
